Adele just wrote a cover story for the September issue of Elle magazine where she opened up about her personal and family life. She admitted in it that she is madly in love with her lover and plans to have more kids after she secures the success of her Las Vegas residency later in the year. The 15-time Grammy winner denied allegations that she has been seeing sports agent Rich Paul for a year or that they had become engaged or married and said she "definitely" wants to get married once more.
"I have never experienced a love like this. She admitted to Elle, "I'm fascinated with him. She added, "I'm not married. I'm simply in love! I'm as content as I'll ever be. It's better that I'm married. Elle reveals Paul, 40, and Adele, 34, were longtime friends before developing a serious relationship in 2021. According to reports, the couple is remodelling their home with the idea of starting a blended family.
Adele admitted to Elle, "I certainly want more kids." "I'm a matriarch and a housewife, and having a secure existence helps me with my singing. But all I can think about right now is Vegas. I really want to f**k it. Angelo, a 9-year-old boy that Adele and her ex-husband Simon Konecki share, is already a parent. The pair divorced in 2021 after divorcing in 2019.
The "Hello" singer, though, called the first cancellation of her Caesars Palace residency gigs a low point in her career. It was by far the worst experience of my career, she added. “By far. About those shows, I was extremely enthusiastic. It was disastrous.
The day before the gigs were scheduled to debut, on January 20, Adele tweeted a tearful video stating she would be postponing and rescheduling the shows. She claimed that she was on the fence about carrying out a plan that didn't feel right.
Adele said to Elle, "There was just no spirit about it." "The stage wasn't set up properly. It lacked intimacy and felt quite far from me and my band. And perhaps I overdid it by giving it those things in such a regulated setting." Stretch month, Adele revealed that her residency, dubbed "Weekends With Adele," would start in November and last through March. There would be performances every Friday and Saturday night of the week.
The first several months after the cancellation were "very, really painful," according to Adele. "I felt ashamed. However, because it was a really bold thing to undertake, it actually increased my self-confidence. And I doubt many individuals would have taken the actions I did, she added. I'm quite proud of myself for defending my needs as an artist.
