Police claim a thief was shot by an officer after stabbing someone inside of Macy's at the Mall of Georgia.

At the Mall of Georgia's Macy's, there has been a stabbing, and Gwinnett County Police are on the scene. Police confirmed that a suspect entered Macy's and began slamming counters.

There are currently few details available, but as of now, police have stated that a stabbing incident occurred at Macy's in the Mall of Georgia and that the suspect was shot. They noted that the suspect damaged the jewellery counter but did not completely rule out a robbery attempt or another reason for the event.
