While preaching in Jetavan, once God had given a position to the bhikkhunis according to their ability, then he thanked Bhadra by giving him a leading position among the bhikkhunis who had the memory of their previous births.
He spent the rest of his life preaching the Dhamma and also experienced Nirvana. The worthy wife of the husband, true companion, Tyagamayi Bhikkhuni Bhadra, while introducing (her husband) Bhikkhu Kashyap, has said at one place -
“Bhikkhu Kashyapa is the successor of Lord Gautam Buddha. They have acquired the knowledge of the Trividyas."
