- His mother Mayadevi died seven days after Gautama's birth. He was then raised by his maternal aunt (stepmother) and Mahaprajavati (Gautami), the second queen of Shuddodhan.
- When the birth ceremony of Gautama Buddha was held, the then famous monk Darsha Asit made a prediction that this child would either become a great king or a great pioneer.
- He received Vedas and Upanishads from Guru Vishwamitra. Not only this, apart from the education of the Vedas, he learned the art of wrestling, horse racing, arrow-armament like a Kshatriya.
- Gautam Buddha was married at the age of 16 to Yashodhara, a daughter of the Koli dynasty, after receiving education at an early age.
- His father had made a lot of luxury for Siddhartha. Three different palaces were built for them based on the three seasons. Where there was a lot of dancing and entertainment. - Once in the spring, Siddhartha went on a garden walk. Where he saw an old man on the street. His teeth were broken, his hair was caught, his body was crooked. Slowly trembling holding sticks in his hand, he was walking on the road. When Siddhartha went for a garden walk for the second time, a patient came in front of his eyes. Whose breath was going on fast. The shoulders fell loose. The arms were dry. The stomach was swollen. His face turned pale. He was able to walk very hard with the help of another. For the third time, a wanderer appeared while walking Siddharth. Where the four men were carrying the bows while carrying shoulders. Many people were crying behind, some were beating their chest, some were scratching their hair. Seeing all these scenes, Siddharth was very much disturbed. He thought that 'Damn it is to a youth who soaks up life'. Damn is the health that destroys the body. Damn to a life that completes its chapter so soon. And started thinking in mind, will old age, sickness and death always be like this? After that, when Siddhartha went for a walk for the fourth time, he saw a monk. Who seemed to be happy after getting rid of all the feelings and desires of the world, due to which Gautama Buddha was greatly encouraged and decided to become a sannyasin.
- Leaving the fascination of the kingdom, Siddhartha reached the Rajgriha for penance. Where he started asking for alms and wandering, he reached Alar Kalam and Udak Ramputra. Through which he learned yoga and meditation, learned to make samadhi. But Siddharth was not satisfied with that either. After which he reached Uruvela and started doing different austerities there.

A song by those women was in Siddharth's ear - "Don't leave Veena's strings loose; Leaving loose will not leave her melodious voice." - On the day of Baisakhi Purnima, Siddhartha was doing penance under the Vatavriksha and Sujata, a woman from the same village, gave birth to a son. Because he asked for a vatavriksha vow for the son. On completion of the vow, the woman filled cow's milk pudding in a platter of gold and went to the tree tree. Where Siddhartha was doing penance. The woman felt as if she was worshiping only as the deity of the tree. Sujatha offered Kheer to Siddharth with great respect and said- 'As soon as my wish is fulfilled, so should your wish also be fulfilled.' Sujatha left from there, and Siddhartha's meditation became successful while doing penance the same night. At that time, Siddhartha realized real knowledge. Since then Siddhartha has been called 'Buddha'. Under the peepal tree under which Siddhartha came to be known, at present the place is called Bodhivriksha and popularized as Bodhgaya.
