Shyamavati was the beautiful daughter of a Shrestha of Bhadravati city. Being the only daughter of her parents, she was brought up with great love and happiness. Shyama, a calm and naive girl by nature, had great respect for her parents and was happy to serve them. Shresthi had also made proper arrangements for his education and initiation. He got a lot of education in a short time with his sharp intellect. ,
The disease of plague caught Bhadravati very fast. Seeing the city, it started deteriorating. There was an outcry everywhere, the way the eyes went, only the dead were seen to be dead. With the shrugs, the screams and the flutter of eagles, as if the shadow of death was moving. All the people of Shyama's family became the food of plague disease, so Seth went to Kaushambi with his dear daughter and wife. A friend of his lived there. The two friends had never met each other, only through messages. After reaching Kaushambi, the three helpless creatures took shelter in a hut outside the city. Distraught over the grief of family members, the Shresthi couple did not consider it appropriate to find a friend in their miserable condition. Many days passed . With the passage of time the memories also began to fade. The constant hunger of several days made him utterly weak. He said to his beloved daughter- "Daughter! Now there is nothing left, only the food of the beggar has to be taken. But he doesn't even have the ability to bring alms. ,
Poor Shyama's eyes became moist. He said with a little courage - "Tat! Your Shyama will bring alms. ,
A wealthy superior named Vivayat used to distribute food among the poor and beggars every day. He himself used to go to the charity and see the work of the servants whether they do proper distribution or not? In the group of beggars, the poor helpless Shresthi of Bhadravati - daughter Shyama was also standing with a beggar. She reached the hut asking for food for three persons. All three fixed their apps. Hungry for many days, his father could not digest that food and left his wife and daughter orphans and passed away. His mother Darun went mad with grief. Shyama brought alms for her only support mother. His frenzied mother ate a lot of food. She was incapacitated, she also died due to not being able to digest food.
On the third day Shyama took only one vessel and stood crying in front of the vessel. Seth understood that earlier she used to take more food by lying, why only one today? "What is not eaten more?"

The petitioners used to get great satisfaction after receiving donations from Shyama, who was gladly distributing donations sympathetically. Treating her like a real Annapurna, she used to take donations from her peacefully. Due to giving charity along with the fast, Shyama used to call Shyama with respect as Shyamavati.
One day Shresthi's friend came to Valaya's house. He saw Shyama's efficiency, modesty and sattvik beauty; He had feelings of affection towards Shyama in his mind, he asked Shresthi Declared about Shyama. Hearing the whole situation, he affectionately placed his hand on Shyama's head and said - "From today onwards I also give you the position of my eldest daughter as well as the family of five hundred women. ,
Yamuna was the festival of bathing festival. Every woman participating in this festival had a rule to go for a bath without a vehicle.
How many splendid women of the city were walking on foot. Sundari Shyama along with her five hundred friends and servants also went to the Rajpath in front of the Raj Bhavan. King Udayan of Kaushambi saw Shyama like Manjul Indu in the midst of five hundred women like stars from the entrance of his palace. He thought it would be a matter of great pride if I could bring it to my political office. He asked- "Who are these dancers? On this it was ascertained and told that they were not dancers and declared that the eldest daughter was Shyamavati and her friends.
The king, enchanted by Shyama's melody, proposed to Shresthi to give it to Shyama, but Shresthi refused. Angry at this, King Udayan surrounded Shresthi's palace. Shyama returned after taking a bath and seeing the house surrounded by soldiers, she asked the reason behind it to her father (proclaimed Shresthi who considered her a daughter). Knowing the reason, thinking something, he said "Tat! If Maharaj (Udayan) allows my five hundred friends and servants to be accommodated with me in the Raj Bhavan, then I am ready to accept his permission. Pleased with his conversation, his father told Udayan.
King Udayan accepted Shyama's statement and gave him the post of his chief princess.
Shyamavati was interested in playing Veena. The soft fingers danced on the thin strings and Udayana, along with his beloved queen Shyama, was enchanted by that chime. He was a sacrifice to her appearance, qualities and love. Princess Shyamavati was also in love with flowers. She used to get eight Karshapan flowers from her maid Khujjuttara regularly. Khujjuttara used to buy four Karshapan flowers every day and kept four herself. One day she heard the teachings of Lord Tathagata and took away the eight flowers of Karshapan in joy. When Queen Shyama asked the reason for bringing more flowers, she told all the truth. Religious sentimental queen Shyamavati was impressed and freed her from the post of maidservant and gave her a place among the royal ladies. His task was to personally go and listen to the teachings of God and narrate them to Queen Shyamavati. Shraddhashila Shyama started having great devotion on God. Her longing for the darshan of Shasta started intensifying, but how could she go for darshan and worship without the permission of the king? Getting orders was a difficult task. Therefore, she used to have darshan of the Lord while going from Vatayan to preach Charika and Dhamma. The Vatayan was small and could not be seen clearly, so he had made the Vatayan bigger.
Long ago the Lord had neglected the form of his wife Magandi. Due to this Magandi used to stay away from God. Shyama had become a wife and had great faith in God. That is why Queen Magandi was jealous of him and used to take measures to trouble him. He provoked King Udayan against Shyamavati and said- "Shyma wants Gautam, not you. With this, the window has been made wide so that it can be seen regularly. "The king knew the nature of Queen Shyamavati, so hearing such words towards God, he reprimanded Magandi a lot. Hearing this, Durvinita Magandi said - You ask Queen Shyama to make chicken meat for you. Live chickens were sent to Queen Shyama. Panatipata veramani sikha padam samadiyami. Shyama, who followed modesty, politely declined that task. Then Magandi again sent chickens asking King Udayan to make meat for Gautam and himself got those chickens killed by hiding. Thus, for the second time, due to Magandi's deceit, Queen Shyama got the dead chickens. He cooked them. Magandi proved his point by deceit and Udayan became angry with Queen Shyama.
Still Magandi's jealousy did not quell. One day he hid a poisonous snake in the veena sent by Queen Shyamavati to King Udayan. The king saw the poisoner, he was sure that Magandi tells the truth, Shyama definitely wants to kill me. He trembled with anger. To kill Shyamavati, he raised his bow and pointed an arrow. innocent
Shyama and her friends created a sense of friendship by worshiping Lord Mahakarunik in their hearts. What did the king think? The king's arrow remained as it was. He repented of his mistake by throwing the bow and arrow on the earth - "Forgive me, dear! you are innocent Shyama replied firmly- "You are my master. Don't apologize to me I am not angry with you. If you are happy with me, then allow me to go for darshan of God. ,
Raj Udayan ordered him to go to the monastery and do charity. Shyama again pleaded - "God! Please arrange for a Thera Bhikkhu who can explain to me the principles of Saddhamma. ,
The king graciously requested the Lord and found Anand Ther suitable for this task. Queen Shyamavati started learning religion from him. Within a short time she also started to understand religious principles. One day he reverently donated the chevre to Anand Ther. In which he had offered five hundred valuable Uttarasangs.
Magandi was getting frantic with jealousy. One day she took the king with her and went to a distant forest and told her uncle to set fire to Shyama's palace.
The innocent queen Shyamavati and her friends were burnt to death in the same fire.
When the king came back with Magandi, the innocent queen was visible.
