At the young age of 12, when children play with their friends, at that time a child without caring for his life for the country jumped into the fight for the freedom of the country. In 1942, when Mahatma Gandhi's call of 'British to Quit India' was being protested and agitated by padyatras all over the country, at the same time a 15-year-old boy studying in class VIII of a school in Gujarat was also enthusiastically involved. was participating in a walk.
The padyatra was going from one village to another with the slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai, in the middle of the way the police stopped the march. At that time, Shirish was holding the national flag in his hand. The police asked the people involved in the padyatra to end the march but the brave child ignored the order and continued to chant Bharatmata ki Jai, Vande Mataram. This enraged the British officer and ordered firing. When the policemen pointed the gun at the girls present in the padyatra, that Shirish shouted, "If you have to shoot, then I have to shoot, the police officer furious with his call fired two bullets which hit Shirish in the chest and he fell.
At the age of 15 playing with toys, a small child sacrificed his life for the country. He bravely, without any fear, stood before the gun of the British police. In front of the feeling of patriotism, he did not even care for his life and became a martyr for the country.
