Sujata

Niranjana, which is now called the Falgu River, has Bodh Gaya on one side and Senani Van on the other bank. The name of that forest and village was named after the fighter chieftain. Nowadays this village is known as 'Bakraul' village. The chief fighter of the Gwala caste had a lot of land and cows. This fighter village was in the same holy region of Uruvela, where Kumar Siddhartha did hard penance to attain enlightenment and attained enlightenment and did the welfare of all beings in the form of Lord Buddha. Even today, the beautiful trees of Vat, Peepal, Tamarind, Mango and Jamun fascinate humans. Every particle there is providing purity.

The virtuous and beautiful girl of the same fighter - Ratna's name was Sujata. Roop's queen Sujata was not in the slightest proud of her beauty. She spread sweet laughter and fed her father's cows.

and took care. Sometimes the enchanted si used to look after the cows and the white-black calves with affection. Sociability and modesty always adorned his impeccable face. Whoever met him was pleased. Vinayshila Sujata had great faith in the deity of the banyan tree near the village. At that time this story was prevalent that whosoever wished from this tree with a sincere heart, it would definitely get fulfilled. The reverent Sujata, remembering the forest-god of the banyan tree, had wished that if she had a desired husband and first son, I would worship pure milk pudding by offering naivedya. ,

That beautiful young woman with virtues, the cowherd daughter, set foot at the door of youth and was married to a handsome, virtuous, prosperous young man. The young man used to take full care of the happiness and means of his estranged wife and used to get satisfaction seeing her happy. Sujata, a gentle hearted Pranayini, used to always take care of her duties towards her husband, considering her happiness in the happiness of her husband. Later, Harsh-vibhor Sujata gave birth to a beautiful son. Sujata's wish was fulfilled. There was no limit to the happiness of both husband and wife. The reverent Sujata's heart was filled with gratitude - towards her forest-god. She had also got the husband she wanted and a beautiful son too.

She went to her father's place with her husband and son for Archana. In the holy hours of Vaishakh Purnima, he had to worship those forest-gods. He needed anhydrous milk to feed Naivedya. He made good arrangements for milk. One thousand cows were milked and fed to five hundred cows. The milk of five hundred cows was fed to two hundred and fifty cows and the milk of two hundred and fifty cows was fed to eight cows. With the milk of eight such strong cows, he made kheer on the auspicious festival of Vaishakh Purnima. Sending her servant to clean the place near the banyan tree, she herself started preparing for the worship with devotion.

The maid Purna went under the banyan tree and saw - a divine person absorbed in spiritual practice, the tree is situated in the root. He considered them to be real tree-gods. She jumped with joy. He cleaned the area around the tree very quickly and went to his mistress with a joyful heart and narrated the description of those divine deities in one breath. Truly "Forest God! When Sujata heard this, her mind danced with joy. Adorned with clothes, Kalyani reached near the Sujata banyan tree carrying that waterless emulsion (kheer) in a golden plate. For some time she gazed at the great seeker of light, she also understood that due to his virtue (him) the deities are giving darshan to him. She became revered, worshiped him and worshiped him with incense-lamps and flowers. Then after offering waterless flavored kheer, she waited for the end of the enchanted meditation. The maid was singing in a loud voice while dancing in Harshatirek. The meditation of the Lord who had been practicing for years was complete, he opened his eyes.

With reverence, Pulkit Sujata pleaded in a gleeful voice – “Dev! I had wished that if I could get the desired groom and beautiful son, then I would offer an emulsion (kheer) of waterless milk to the forest deity of this banyan tree. Considering you as the symbol of the forest deity, we have worshiped you. My wish has been fulfilled. God ! This pie is dedicated to you. Please accept it and thank me. ,

The Lord took a bath in the waters of Niranjana. After years of severe austerity and fasting, he took that emulsion and experienced newness and strength, then said in a solemn voice – “Shubhe! I bless your son to be successful. What do you understand by Dhamma? ,

The innocent Sujata said- “God, good deeds give peace to the mind and bad actions have bad results. To do good work with patience, service, love seems to me patience. God was pleased. Appreciating her faith and intelligence, he said- "Kalyani! You also bless me, just as your wish has been fulfilled, in the same way my wish for world welfare is also fulfilled. ,

Sujata's Rome-Rom became grateful on hearing this auspiciousness. His silent blessing was - "Heart's wish, God! May your holy goal of welfare of beings be fulfilled. ,

Bodhisattva Siddhartha, after accepting the waterless emulsion, departed from Sujata, walked from there and sat in the posture of Vajrasana in the cool shade of the Bodhi tree. Mar's heart trembled. He came before them with his army. The beauty, sex-girls, luxuriant dance of young girls, songs could not make any effect on that god-man, then he used the weapon. The storm-storm-rain tried to obstruct their wish fulfillment. But all in vain. The Lord conquered Mara and attained enlightenment.

As Lord Buddha, he proceeded to Rishipatan Mrigdava (Sarnath) for the holy purpose of turning the wheel of Dhamma. Sujata heard how happy she must have been. The woman who got this great distinction that the emulsion made by her tender lotus flowers was accepted by the Lord, which reduced the sagging of her body. Taking the same, he applied Vajrasana and after attaining enlightenment (knowledge = realization) for the welfare of the world, he became 'Buddha' from 'Bodhisattva' and removed the calamity of beings.

As long as there is Buddhist literature, the saga of the reverent Sujata, the sacred story of Payas Datri will never be forgotten. Today his grand palace near Niranjana is reminiscent of that era in the form of utter ruins. The ruins of Sujata's hut visible from the cool shade of forest trees, the sky-kissing holy Buddha Vihara and the dense tree bodhi tree bring to life the reverent emulsion offerings of Sujata and the virtuous clocks of God's attainment of Bodhi and Buddha-Purnima (Vaishakh Purnima). In a holy moment, the reverent mind suddenly says - "Kalyani Sujata you were blessed and even more blessed was your faith."
