Vakkul Ther and Bhadra Katyayani (Yashodhara Devi) had attained
Parinirvana during the time of Lord Gautam Buddha.
The
Tathagata, while giving the position to the bhikkhunis, had also given
the position to Bhikkuni Bhadra Katyayani (Yashodhara) - "Bhikkhuo!
Bhadra Katyayani is the foremost among the bhikkhuni Shravikas received
by me."
