A girl studying in class 3, who was just 11 years old, got involved in the freedom movement. Chacha Ramchandra Giri was a well known freedom fighter. When there were meetings of freedom fighters in the house regarding the independence of the country, even that little girl would participate in these meetings with great enthusiasm. From here, at such a young age, the desire to do something for the country was born in his mind. He decided that his goal is the freedom of the country. This girl was Parvati Giri.
At the young age of 11, Parvati Devi dropped out of school and started participating in revolutionary activities. At the age of 16, she became a part of the Quit India Movement led by Gandhiji.
Parvati Devi was so brave and courageous from a young age that she once fearlessly raised anti-British anti-government slogans in a British court where there were policemen everywhere. Seeing this act of the fearless 16-year-old girl, everyone present there was shocked. For this act of Parvati she was sent to jail and kept in jail for 2 years. Even after this, Parvati's spirits for patriotism and independence of the country did not break. When she came out of jail, she again jumped into the freedom struggle and traveled all over the country and launched a massive campaign to drive the British out of India.
