The feeling of patriotism was so strong in the patriots that they used to forget their happiness and peace. He neither saw his selfishness nor his family in front of the independence of the country. He only saw his country and its freedom. One such revolutionary who made such sacrifices for the country was Rajkumari Gupta, who had made an important contribution in the Kakori incident.
Our revolutionaries created panic in the mind of the British by looting the money that the British were collecting by exploiting the Indian farmers and laborers in the Kakori incident.
Rajkumari Gupta was given the responsibility of supplying weapons in the Kakori incident to the group of revolutionaries who were to attack the train carrying the British government treasury. To undertake such a risky task, the princess immediately agreed. To avoid any suspicion, Rajkumari Gupta used to hide the weapons in her khadi clothes and during this time used to carry her three-year-old child in her lap so that the British police would not suspect her. With her bravery and cunning, Rajkumari Gupta delivered weapons to all the revolutionaries. Such was the passion of patriotism in that woman that she neither cared for her own life nor that of her 3-year-old child.
On being arrested for his involvement in revolutionary activities in the Kakori incident, his in-laws denied their relationship with him and threw him out of the house. The in-laws even got the information published in the local press about the termination of relations with them. It was a huge loss for a woman personally. Nevertheless, she remained active in the freedom movement without any distraction.
