Ram Manohar Lohia

Patriotism is not just a word but a feeling that fills enthusiasm and enthusiasm in people of all ages. Imagine, a ten year old child drops out of school to contribute to the non-cooperation movement. Relinquishing foreign clothes and starts wearing Khaddar.

Ram Manohar Lohia was so deeply engrossed in the feeling of patriotism from the young age of 10 that the elders were astounded. The merit was such that at the age of 17, he presided over the conference of Akhil Banga Vidyarthi Parishad when Subhash Chandra Bose did not reach. Today, at the age of 18, when children start thinking about their careers, at that age, Lohia was fiercely opposing the Simon Commission.

During the Quit India Movement, when Mahatma Gandhi and other big leaders were imprisoned, Lohia worked to spread the movement all over India. He worked to spread the revolution across the country by running an intelligence radio with his companions. He was arrested in 1944. During this time his father died but Lohia refused to leave on petrol at the grace of the British government.
