Indian revolutionary Rash Behari Bose fought against the British rule for the rest of his life, to get India's independence. During the partition of Bengal, he, along with Aurobindo Ghosh and Jatin Banerjee, for the first time tried to expose the intention of the British government behind the partition of Bengal to stop the partition related to revolutionary activities. Rash Behari Bose started the plan of "Gadar Conspiracy" against the British rule. Apart from this, he planned to throw a bomb on Lord Charles Hardinge, the then Viceroy of India in Delhi, went to Japan and founded 'Indian Independence League' and 'Azad Hind Fauj'.
After the 'Delhi Durbar', the then Viceroy Lord Hardinge's ride was being taken out in Chandni Chowk, Delhi. Rash Behari planned to throw a bomb at him. Yugantar Dal member Basant Kumar Vishwas threw a bomb at Hardinge's buggy, but missed the target and Basant was caught by the police. Taking advantage of the stampede caused by the bomb, Rash Behari escaped from the police and went to Dehradun overnight by train.
After this, he made a plan of mutiny to get India's independence during the First World War. In February 1915, he planned to fight with the army of his trusted revolutionaries. But this plan was not successful and he went to Japan. There, together with his Japanese revolutionary friends, he continued to strive for the independence of the country. In a conference in Tokyo, he founded the 'Indian Independence League' and also presented a proposal to create an army for India's independence.
Rash Behari Bose kept on making constant efforts. He did not sit in despair from any failure and continuously tried to do something for the country. Under all circumstances, he kept thinking about the country. Whether in the country or outside the country, he always kept the country in his heart.
