Siddhartha - the city where mother Mahamaya was born and spent her infancy. In the same famous Koliya town Devdah, a woman named Supravasa was also born. Being brought up in the same environment, Supravasa was also taught like Maya and she was also pleased with kindness, charity, service. As soon as she attained age, she got married with a Shakya Kumar. With her service and modesty, she enchanted everyone in her husband's house (in-laws). Her husband was also pleased with her virtues. They never stopped him for religion and charity.

Laughing and laughing, the days of joy began to pass. Sulakshana bride Supravasa conceived. Seeing the seriousness of motherhood on a yellow body like Ketaki's womb, her father-in-law was pleased. They all thought that their courtyard would reverberate with howls. Like the lamp of the lineage, the newborn will continue to observe the house with the light of gaiety. ,

In due course of time Suprasava gave birth to a beautiful son who became famous by the name of Sivali.

Then every particle of Kapilvastu was getting ecstatic with the teachings of the Lord. Dhammsila Supravasa also went to see that great world guru. Lord Bhikkhu Sangh was providing innovative peace with auspicious teachings. Supravasa also sat on one side after worshiping and started listening to the sermon attentively. By hearing the first darshan and teachings of the Lord, he got the fruit of the source.

Trying to follow the welfare teachings of the Triratna became the goal of Supravasa's life. For his aspiration, he could become blessed once by inviting the divine Guru and the holy Bhikkhu Sangha. He pleaded with God. Karunamurti Tathagata accepted his invitation. The reverent Supravasa was filled with joy and got all the items of food donation prepared with great love and reverence. He devoutly donated food to the Lord and the bhikkhusangh on beautiful rugs.

After the meal, Shasta while preaching said to him- "Supravase! Arya-Shravika giving five things to the recipients while donating food, age, color (form), happiness, strength and talent. By giving them, they get the temporal and divine fruits of these five. "Supravasa was blessed. He sent them off with great devotion. His whole life was spent in charity, Dhamma. Following the precepts, she started moving towards the path of spiritual practice.

The Lord was pleased with his selfless donation. When he was residing in the Jetavana Mahavihara, one day while giving the position to the worshipers, he bestowed the best position among the householder worshipers who gave excellent donations to Supravasa. Supravasa was grateful. His holy life continues to inspire selfless charity even today. Although today he is not in this world.
